Collapsible Gates
Perfectly designed to open and close and maintains very little space when in the unlocked (open) position, our collapsible gates are a type of retractable security grille and we manufacture and install them locally to Uxbridge and Hillingdon.
They're ideal for residential buildings because they hide away very well behind curtains or walls. They also feature well for commercial regulations where fire and safety is of concern.
The materials used for our retractable grilles are from the thickest avaiable and all structural components are of solid steel. Our collapsible gates are operated from a simple push-to-lock mechanism and are not built into the gate. If necessary, it is possible to change the locks for alternative types after they're installed.
Security Grilles can be manufactured and installed internally or externally. We make our security window bar grilles from solid steel bars and only use hollow section if necessary for structure. We can make grilles that conform to any specification, both for insurance approved and safety compliance.
We have different methods for fixing window bar grilles and this becomes important when installed externally. All of our bar grilles are made specifically for individual windows and we find the best solution for the required level of protection.
Whilst Bar Grilles for windows are not always most appealing to look at, we often incorporate decorative metal artwork into the grille for buildings within the Uxbridge and Hillingdon area. Where fire and safety is of concern, we have methods of making hinged or removable sections into the grille.
Security mesh offers a good level of protection against break-ins, but it's main feature is to shield against unwanted access to valuables and objects. An example of this is a lock on a door with a glass panel. When installing small wire mesh internally over glass it prevents hands from accessing locking mechanisms etc.
Areas containing valuables can be protected by mesh cages to create a ventillated barrier to maintain access control. This can often be a cheaper alternative to building walls within rooms too.
Where glass is prone to vandalism externally fitted security mesh helps prevent damage whilst maintaining a good level of security for openings.
Mesh is often used as a fixed grille solution, but it is of course possible to add hinges or removable framed sections. We can offer a range of mesh to suit a specification. As standard, we offer expanded diamond mesh and square weld mesh types.
As similarly described for security window bars, bar grille doors offer an additional barrier specifically for doors and other walk-through openings. To increase security to an existing door a bar grille door can offer some additional security features and provide a good extra level of protection. As an individual door it can offer a barrier to passages whilst maintaining visiblity and air flow.
We manufacture and install our bar doors to include a british standard (BS3621) lock which is typically approved by insurance companies. Our standard locks can be changed at a later date and are reasonably avaiable for public purchase.
